Colin Oettle draws upon a diverse musical background to create evocative instrumental and operatic performances from the podium. Mr. Oettle earned his Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from Rutgers University, where he served as assistant conductor of the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra and the Rutgers Sinfonia. He is currently music director of Vari Musicisti in New York and has recently appeared with Opera Theater of Montclair.

Mr. Oettle completed his undergraduate studies in violin performance and music education at Ithaca College and, in addition to performing, combines his fields of study into a performance-oriented approach toward music education. He is currently a conductor at Youth Orchestra of Bucks County in Newtown, PA, and teaches at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
