Rob Keiser is an award winning pianist who performs throughout New York and New Jersey. Mr. Keiser received his Bachelor of Music in piano performance from Ithaca College, winning the prestigious Mary Hayes North Piano Competition Award in 2008. He received his Master of Arts in piano performance from Hunter College, CUNY, winning their coveted concerto competition in 2012 for his performance of Liszt’s Totentanz. Mr. Keiser founded Vari Musicisti with his wife, Teresa Giardina, and is currently an adjunct lecturer at Hunter College, where he teaches theory, piano, and musicianship and maintains a private piano studio. He also teaches at the Lindeblad School of Music, where he has a studio of about 30 students. Mr. Keiser has been the musical director in several off-Broadway shows and continues to partner with both vocalists and instrumentalists as a collaborative pianist. He has appeared at Summer festivals including Italy’s Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in 2007 and the Brevard Music Festival in 2010.
