Colin Oettle is a New Jersey based conductor and educator who draws upon a diverse background to work with young musicians around the tri-state area. Mr. Oettle earned his Master of Music degree in orchestral conducting from Rutgers University and completed his undergraduate studies in violin performance and music education at Ithaca College. He now combines his fields of study into a performance-oriented approach toward music education. Mr. Oettle teaches orchestra at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North in Plainsboro, NJ. He has previously taught at Youth Orchestra of Bucks County in Newtown, PA, and Westminster Choir College and the Westminster Conservatory in Princeton, NJ.
